Volunteering at hospitals is becoming an interest to me
Becoming a Medical Assistant while in High school has showed me that I am capable of challenges that medicine brings forward. I learned what my weak points were which is being too sensitive and having a fear of needles. I have managed to stay strong and I got used to seeing those scary sharp things going into different spots of the body.
I went to different medical settings: clinics, Doctor's office, and Hospitals. I saw how in different settings, protocol was different depending on the urgency of the patient's condition. The hospital has to be my favorite work place because it forces staff to give their immediate action.
I am very proud of myself for achieving this Certificate because it was the beginning of my journey to something further I am working on.
Your really in to the medical field. That is always a good thing while I was in I loved every second of it. How far are you wanting to go? Is there a specific field you want to get in to?
ReplyDeleteHi Jenn, yes, I am very into it. For now, I want to get my bachelors in nursing then go for a Masters Degree to become a Nurse Practitioner. I am not sure if I will go further than a Nurse Practitioner because the would be reaching a Medical Doctor after that so I dont know if I am willing to go that far yet.
